This is a real nice vintage Untied States Navy old film (maybe 16mm) on a projector reel.It is in good shape.The label on the front says United States Navy Naval Air Systems Command MN 11288 Unclas. Color 44:3 min. “chalk talk on alcoholism” part 1. On the inside the reel and the film appears to be in great shape it says on the film reel ideal pictures Indianapolis and it has a HFC stamped on the reel on both sides.The outside of the can says chalk talk part 1 copy 4.This is a very neat piece of Navy history.Posted with eBay Mobile

I GOT THESE FROM A GUY WHO SERVED ON THE USS MISSOURI BATTLESHIP FOR MANY YEARS, BUT A TOTAL OF 30 YEARS STRAIGHT IN THE NAVY, AND HE DIDN’T WANT TO LEAVE SO WHEN THEY MADE HIM LEAVE THE CAPTAIN LET HIM PICK SOMETHING FROM A SMALL LIST THAT HE CAN HAVE TO TAKE WITH HIM, AND SO HE PICKED THESE 3 VERY RARE ITEMS WELL MANY YEARS LATER I RAN INTO HIM STARTED TALKING ABOUT GUNS, AND THE NEXT THING YOU KNEW HE BROUGHT UP THESE ITEMS THAT HE HAD TAKEN..
I TRIED TO BUY THEM FOR MAYBE 2 YEARS WITH NO LUCK, AND THEN ONE DAY HE CALLED ME ASKING ME IF I STILL WANTED THEM… IT BROKE HIS HEART TO SELL THEM, BUT WHEN I ASKED WHY NOW AFTER ALL THIS TIME – HE JUST PAUSED FOR A FEW SECONDS, AND SAID THAT HIS HOSPITAL BILLS HAD GOTTEN THE BEST OF HIM…
I HAVE KEPT MY PROMISE THAT I DIDN’T BUY THEM TO RESALE SO AFTER 5 LONG YEARS YOU NOW HAVE THE CHANCE TO OWN SOMETHING THAT ANYONE WOULD BE PROUD TO HANG ON THE WALL.. SUCH DETAIL, AND TO CAPTURE THE ROCKET ALONG WITH THE PROJECTILE IN THE PICTURES ARE OUTSTANDING IF ANYTHING….
NOT REALLY SURE WHAT YEAR THESE WERE TAKEN AS HE SAID MANY UPGRADES WERE DONE OVER THE 30 YEARS… SO THE YEAR IS UNKNOWN.

The ship was put in mothballs in 1955. Then in 1986 it was put back in service until March 31st 1992. When a ship is in mothballs, sailors do not get stationed on that ship. The pictures were taken in the late 80’s. The tomahawk is very slow when first launched.

Beautiful Vintage set of 7 USN Tablespoons
Estate find – Owner used to be a Navy Admiral
Fabulous ornate pattern with USN engravings on the back of each spoon.
They are in nice vintage shape, and sold in as found condition. Tarnish is present, but I think this only adds to the beauty and the age of these spoons.
GREAT GIFT IDEA!
 You would need to clean them if you are going to use them, but they would look great in a display as is ~ Maybe with other Military memorabilia, or other beautiful silverware.
 
I love selling my estate sale finds to you ~~ they are sold as is.

USN Navy KINGS Silver Plate Lot of 2 Hollow Handled 8 1/2″ Dinner Knives

Up for auction is this lot of 2 USN (US Navy) Officer’s KINGS pattern silverplated Hollow Handled Dinner Knives.  These are in good to very good condition with some signs of use and they are polished and ready for your table. They have some minor plate wear and lots of little scratches and tiny dents but overall they are pretty presentable for silverware of this age.  They measure about 8 1/2″ long.  These have “U.S.N.” on the back of the handle and a Navy anchor logo engraved on the front on the handle and the blade.  One of these knives is marked ”International Silver Co. IS”  on the side of the handle.
